Honey Chicken Wings

This goes well with potato salad/ fries / buttered rice. Can't say it suits a lot of Indian taste buds but after the first time of trying it out, I am sure you will customize it to suit your taste. I know the brother did! I have no idea where I got this recipe from, found it in my cooking scrap book from a decade or so ago.. as they say, better late than never.. (lol if you don't like it, don't say this is an exception to the saying!)
Grocery List

6 chicken wings
1 tbsp light soya sauce (regular soya sauce)
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp salt to taste
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp ginger juice
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp dark soya sauce
1 tbsb corn or regular vegetable oil

Method

1. Place the wings in a container

2. Mix all ingredients but the corn oil, and toss well with the wings. Leave overnight to marinate in fridge.

3. Add corn oil just before popping the wings in the oven/ over a grill.

4. Pre-heat oven to 200c and leave in oven for 20/25 mins - I left it for thirty, because I wanted the skin to turn golden brown. Else deep fry.
