Adam the conqueror!

It hurts very bad to be Adam. When a bad word comes out of his girlfriend's mouth, it feels like a punch in the stomach. First it's a small burst, then a ka pow and then it's a slow journey through the rib cage and right into the heart. Here, the bad word lands right in the middle of the heart to dispense small electrical pulses that goes down to the spine. Spine chilling. And this is how he felt most days a mean word came out of his girlfriends mouth.

But today was not a day like that. Today was the day he took a deep breath a fire burnt very fast right through his chest and straight to the pinks of the cheeks of his face. And then the usual happened, some of the anger on it's journey dripped into the mouth and set the tongue wagging.

And off he went in a tirade of smoke and fire, bringing up the past and the present. In a furore of emotion, at his girlfriend's insolence, he grabbed the arm of a very hot kettle and threw it on her head.

And Jane felt a meteor, a single deadly hit, like the bulls eye of a dart board, hit the top of her head. And all over, poured the very hot water, burning, sending the very shingles of the cells of her skin on fire.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RRRRR RRRR RRR RR R she shouted and ended with a big fat tear and a sharp inhale of breath followed by a whimper denoting the fine end of a very loud scream.

She fell to the floor and kept crying, watching the skin on hands and legs peel off.

At last, thought Adam, I'll never feel the hurt again!

And so the worm thought of the apple, I love thee
And the apple thought of the worm: I feel so loved
And we all thought of them: "And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy."

O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy:
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy : The Sick Rose by William Blake

Anybody can become angry - that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.
In this case I say The first time Adam had a chance, he laid the blame on women.

When he started his journey, it was the soles of his feet that were in contact with the ground, but now as he pulled himself closer to the station, it was his whole body. His elbows were scraped, bloody and fresh scab peeled bled out to leave a trail of red on the wicked hot dusty ground of pain and suffering. All around him slow moving bodies crawled towards the direction of hope, all along leaving patterns of blood, sweat, skin and pus. These bodies had seen civil wars, droughts, genocide and lived to tell a tale of a people who now belonged to a nation listed as one of the poorest countries in the world. This is now, but before the list, was a struggle of massive proportions, under reported and quietly hidden

The Temple Widow A narrow dirt path, generously peppered with tiny pebbles, tiny miniatures of their gargantuan ancestors, leads to a bridge. It hangs, rickety and old. Old but not well used, old like abandoned and not frequently used. The bridge hangs low over a small stream that slowly gurgles past, happy unlike those that visit the place. The bridge leads to a temple. It is not very big, only perhaps the size of a small hut and at the most the size of an average temple hall. The temple has no deity; the temple has no one corner that doesn’t look like the other. It is clean, well swept, and empty. It has no furniture, and excepting a series of well spaced out windows, the walls remains uninterrupted. She stumbles in, the lady. She is not very tal

All I know is what I know, question my memory if you want to. I don't ask you to remember, I don't ask you to believe. In fact, I'm not asking you for anything at all. It is your choice to be here, to read this. So no, I don't owe you a favor. I happened to chance upon a watch, on one of my travels. Turning the dials of such a watch, could transport you to the past, to the future, to any time. But time, my friend, is not how you think it is. It is not a straight line, and you cannot just by chance hop into the world of dinosaurs and wooden weapons. It is a series of transparencies, like films of clean sheets of paper laid on top of each other. You look from above
