Fidel

It's a rainy Saturday night, and I'm home nursing a hangover. I thank my stars I can afford to have, buttered sweet potatoes & sweet corn, then ice cream and not feel guilty about the carb-fat overdose.

More importantly, up
on the completion of a nice little movie called Marley & Me, that makes you laugh a majority of the movie, and I don't know about you, but I start crying as the movie ends, uncontrollably every time I watch it, and go find Fidel.

I'm happy to see my little man curled up on the sofa, warm and asleep. I give him a hug, and he wakes up wanting a belly rub. A night like this, I'm happy to indulge him. He gives me a lick, runs to the bathroom for a quick toilet break and stretches out on the floor to continue sleeping/snoring.

From the movie: "Dogs don't care if you're rich or poor, don't care about a new car or home. Give them your heart and they will give you theirs. How many people can you say that about?"

HUGS. It's heart wrenching isn't it. I've stopped thinking about it, it's all about NOW in my mind now.
